We are seeking a Innovations Associate to join our team who is passionate about driving innovation and working in a 3D environment. You will play a key role in bringing ideas and products to life, improving processes, and creating best practice SOPs. You will work autonomously with guidance from the Management Team and assistance from our Production Team to launch new products, troubleshoot machines and product-related issues and document procedures.

In any given day you will be responsible for:

• Research and development of new products
• Attend to and provide solutions to product related issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify innovative solutions for various challenges
• Fabricate and implement strategies to optimize pricing and inventory control
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
• Collating and analyzing data accurately to provide reports and key insights on current projects and future developments.
• Thorough documentation of all research, testing, troubleshooting and development.
• Creating formal Training Documentation for Products and Processes.
• Support the innovation team in identifying new opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Position Summary

The Production Supervisor oversees the production team, they will support the Management Team with the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing floor, be responsible for their team and ensure an efficient operation towards achieving business targets. The Supervisor will provide line management to the team, adjust workloads, monitor issues and ensure production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met in order to meet the requirements of the customer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the allocation of production resources and day to day team management.
• Provide mentoring and support to the relevant shift Team Lead.
• Provide feedback and performance management as issues arise.
• Proactively monitor urgent production requests.
• Ensure maximum productivity from the production team to allow jobs to be completed within quoted timeframes.
• Maintain quality, documenting non-conformance and questioning repeat offences to find ways to improve.
• Ensure stock checks are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain safety in the warehouse and ensure OSHA guidelines are adhered to.
• Assist with development and maintenance of all standard operating procedures.
• Ensuring all team members are trained as per the training guide.
• Communicating with external suppliers of equipment and maintenance technicians.
• Fostering company culture, vision, mission and values as per the Easy Signs core values.

Knowledge Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a supervisor or manager in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• A history of commitment to your roles and workplaces.
• Experience leading and developing a rapidly growing team.

Personal Qualities & Traits

• Strong organization & leadership skills and a passion for a fast paced work environment.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Excellent people management and problem solving skills.
• Basic Excel, Word, and Google Suite knowledge
